The company has always been a supporter of eco-friendly viticulture and in recent years has enthusiastically joined the project “Winezero“, funded by Veneto Region, which has enabled to determine the carbon footprint of the entire wine industry to demonstrate that, talking about the emissions of greenhouse gases, we can talk about conservation and sustainable viticulture, implementing appropriate agronomic choices.
With the information gathered, the company is able to implement behavioral and operational solutions such as to further reduce CO2 emissions in the various sectors and company procedures: in the vineyard, in the cellar, in the transport, in the supply of electricity (since several years the company is fully self-sufficient thanks to a photovoltaic system) and infrastructure.
The company’s production is certified ICEA – Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification, the body that deals with the safety of products, market transparency and the health of the consumer.
ICEA promotes the cultural traditions of the various territories and supports initiatives useful for the development of consumption more natural and healthy.
The Company considers the protocols of Organic Agriculture and Quality an essential point for its activities, with the dual purpose of providing a healthy product to its consumers and to constantly improve its corporate standards.
BIO VEGAN certification
Our customers ask us if our wines are vegan, and, as in our productions we do not use any animal adjuvant wine, nor GMO, we got the BIO VEGAN certification by ICEA.
The agricultural firm Le Carline has created, along with other wineries in the Veneto, the “Integrated Plan for promotion and information of the Veneto organic wine in the market of other countries”. The project’s name is “Organic Wine Venice“, one of the activities supported by Veneto Region and the Ministry of Agriculture, for the promotion of wine abroad.
The program therefore plans to involve only wines from organic farming and made from indigenous grapes and of ancient cultivation, as the Lison DOCG Classico produced by Le Carline.
Among the wide range of Le Carline wines there are some of the most important Designations of Origin of Eastern Veneto: the DOC Lison Pramaggiore, the DOC Venezia and DOCG Lison.
